What is the Way of the Heart?

The Way of the Heart is a year-long course in awakening, based on the teachings of Jeshua ben Joseph through Jayem. It is the first year of a 3-year series of teachings known as The Way of Mastery.

You many have heard of or studied 'A Course in Miracles', a seminal classic which has inspired, influenced and informed the work of most personal development and spirituality teachers today, from Eckhart Tolle to Marianne Willamson, Deepak Chopra and David Hawkins. The Way of Mastery is from the same Source and is considered to be a natural complement to ACIM. Thousands of people worldwide - both Course students and otherwise - have been inspired and moved by the depth, freshness and clarity of its teachings. It assumes no knowledge of the Course, yet clearly echoes and deepens those teachings.

What does it teach?

The purpose of The Way of the Heart is to lead you into an way of living where you rely less on the head or intellect and more on the heart and its messages; and dissolve all that would seem to keep you separate from the experience of being your true Self. The course emphasises playfulness, authencity and vulnerabilty, the ability to ‘witness’ what arises, the embrace of emotions and desire, and the healing of all perceptions of separation and victim consciousness.

Is it 'religious'?

No! There is no one to worship and no belief system to subscribe to. What there is, is a series of exercises and axioms which you can try out for yourself by applying them to your own life, and pbserving what changes happen. Jeshua encourages everyone to be an 'inner scientist' rather than a believer. Your own internal experience and feelings are the proof of the pudding...

How can I find out more about Jeshua?
Read Q&A with Jeshua, extracts, and other info here: http://www.shantichristo.com

How can I buy The Way of Mastery?

It is available either on CD or in a  transcribed book format.

The Way of Mastery can be bought online from  www.shantichristo.com. They also offer good value MP3 downloads of the Way of Mastery. Related products are also available from Jayem's site, www.wayofmastery.com and from www.wayoftheheart.net; however shanti christo offer the best value Way of Mastery price. It is also available in the UK through the Miracle Network - see http://www.miracles.org.uk/.

Read the first chapter here:
http://www.shantichristo.com/mastery01.html

Other lessons are available online in an annotated form (a little less easy to read) at www.miraclescentre.us, via their site map.

Who is Jayem?

Jayem is a mystic, author and gifted teacher who has written an account of his life and experiences with Jeshua in The Jeshua Letters. You can read articles, buy the book and find out more about Jayem and ashram in Bali at his comprehensive site, www.wayofmastery.com

Can I study ‘The Way of the Heart’ and ‘A Course in Miracles’ at the same time?
Check for your own guidance on this... Some prefer to study one at a time; some study both courses concurrently and find it works perfectly. This is helped by the fact that The Way of the Heart has a monthly lesson format and ACIM has a daily lesson format.

The teachings are from the same source and are of course congruent.

Whereas the purpose of ACIM is to lead the student's mind to peace, and to contact inner guidance that can lead the rest of the way home, the purpose of The Way of Mastery is to give everything a student needs to awaken. Jeshua says he shares much in it that he couldn't share with the scribe of ACIM as she was neither ready to receive teachings connected to feelings and desires, nor to hear stronger 'non-dual' truths.

The Way of Mastery teachings also appeal to those who find ACIM hard to understand - they are crystal clear, at times humourous, while retaining depth, beauty and lyricism.

Are there study groups elsewhere in the world?

Yes, especially in the USA and Australia. See www.shantichristo.com and www.wayoftheheart.net
